Packaging has been redesigned, says a Pepsi press release, “with new, bright-colored graphics and a crisp, bold typeface.”
FruitWorks is a light-tasting, noncarbonated juice drink in five flavors with as much as 5% fruit juice content. The 20-oz bottles are injection/stretch blow-molded of polyethylene terephthalate in custom molds, and the 28-mm threaded polypropylene closures are injection- or compression-molded, depending on supplier. That’s about all the packaging information Pepsi is providing at this time, other than to say that the bottles can be filled at ambient temperatures by just about any facility in the Pepsi bottling group.
And aimed at teens and young adults, FruitWorks has a suggested retail price of 89¢ to 99¢. It’s sold primarily through C-stores and other “on-the-go” outlets.
