Infinite Packaging Group announces acquisition of Hyde Park Label

Texas’ Hyde Park Label is a leading provider of high-quality flexo-printed and digital labels.

Infinite Packaging Group (IPG), a portfolio company of Svoboda Capital Partners LLC (SC), is pleased to announce the acquisition of Hyde Park Label (HPL). The transaction is the second add-on acquisition for IPG since SC invested in December 2012. Specific terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

HPL is headquartered just north of Austin in Round Rock, TX, and is a leading provider of high-quality flexo-printed and digital labels. HPL’s focus has always been to produce quick turn, high-quality labels, and recently was honored as TLMI’s 2015 Converter of the Year.

“The HPL acquisition expands our geographic footprint and adds capacity to provide our customers with great quality and service,” says Lynn Higgs, CEO of IPG. “We remain committed to growing IPG through acquisitions and organic growth,” With locations now in Austin, Tulsa, and Dallas, IPG has developed a strong presence in the central/Southwest region of the country.

Gary Dunlap, COO of IPG, adds: “From an operations perspective, Hyde Park is a great addition to our team. By joining forces, we gain insight from the 2015 TLMI Converter of the Year, which is always an opportunity to bring new ideas to improve our entire organization.” By virtue of the combination, IPG is now the only company in Texas with two HP 6600 digital presses. The dual digital capability provides greater capacity to satisfy IPG clients. The ability to digitally print short-run, quick-turn digital labels, sleeves, and pouches makes IPG unique.

Alan Etheridge, Managing Director of HPL, concludes: “We are excited to join such a dynamic group of companies and industry professionals. The product breadth, expansive sales force, and diverse asset base that IPG offers brings a bounty of solutions to the markets we currently serve, and complements our value-based platform with a complete solutions portfolio.”
