—Westvaco Corp. (New York, NY) has entered into a joint development mfg. and distribution alliance with Checkpoint Systems, Inc. (Thorofare, NJ).

—MDT Software (Alpharetta, GA) has developed a service agreement with EDS Applied Engineering Solutions (Troy, MI).

—The National Assn. for Printing Leadership (Paramus, NJ) and the Research and Engineering Council (White Stone, VA) have entered into a strategic alliance that will lead to future co-marketing initiatives for industry events and publications.
