Hitachi America announces Southern California subsidiary

Hitachi America Ltd. establishes Label House marking and labeling subsidiary in Irvine, CA.

Hitachi America Ltd. (HAL) announces that as of January 15th, 2016, it is acquiring Label House (Legal Name: L.A. Supply Corporation) to form a new subsidiary. The subsidiary will operate as Label House (LH). To establish the subsidiary, HAL and Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Co., Ltd. (HIES) have agreed to purchase the stock of LH, a leading provider of marking and labeling products and services for the West Coast region.

This acquisition of LH will be the second one for HAL Marking and Coding group following the establishment of Hitachi Industrial Equipment Marking Solutions Inc. (HIMS), which was formed through the acquisition of IMS-Partners Inc. HIES has been a leader in the marking and coding industry for over 40 years, and HAL has been selling and servicing marking and coding solutions in the Americas through distributor channels since 2003.

With the formation of LH, HAL will continue to solidify its leadership position in this market. With this second subsidiary in the U.S., HAL will enhance its product line and strengthen its distribution service offerings for California, Arizona, and Nevada. HAL is confident that this new subsidiary will accelerate its business in the states in which it operates and enhance its ability to provide excellent service to customers.
