Markem-Imaje's "'SustainAbility" initiative is aimed at helping control the impact its products and services have on its customer’s environmental and sustainability goals. The marking and coding company kicked-off the effort in 2011 to assess current greenhouse gas emissions. Additional phases include ways to reduce overall emissions, waste, energy and water usage. Currently, the company is allocating resources to increase customer awareness, work with environmentally friendly suppliers and remain informed of the latest compliancy and regulation releases. The company offers a brochure to interested parties.
