“Weber Marking Systems has been a leader in industrial product identification for nearly 80 years,” said Glenn Gilly, Weber’s president and CEO. “We were pioneers in marking products with hand printers, and later were forerunners in mechanical labeling machines, label formatting software, computer-based label printers and label applicators, and as manufacturers of pressure-sensitive labels.

“We’ve changed our name to Weber Packaging Solutions to better define our present product line as well as clarify the on-going direction of the company,” Gilly continued. “We remain a private company; this name change simply signals that Weber will continue to be a viable manufacturer and supplier of innovative, packaging-related products.”

Gilly went on to say that, under the name Weber Packaging Solutions, the company will continue to offer a broad range of labeling products and services.

“We’re not changing our core mission,” Gilly added. “We will remain focused on being a progressive provider of pressure-sensitive labels and labeling systems.”
