CLARIFICATION

In a Rules & Regs story appearing in the February issue of Packaging World, COOL labeling requirements with regard to fish were misstated. The omnibus appropriations bill passed by Congress in January contained a two-year moratorium on COOL for all covered products except seafood.

Mandatory country-of-origin labels must appear on seafood by September 30, 2004.
