—Impaxx Labels (Schaumburg, IL) has combined its businesses, including Trine Labelling Systems, Label-Aire Inc., and CSA Machine Systems into a focused group to offer packagers a single source for labeling equipment.

—Kraton Polymers Business (Houston, TX) has been sold to the private investment firm Ripplewood Holdings LLC (New York, NY). —BASF Corp. (Mt. Olive, NJ) has signed a distribution agreement with the general polymers div. of Ashland Distribution Co. (Dublin, OH) to be a distributor of its general-purpose, high-impact, and Avantra specialty polystyrene molding and extrusion resins in the United States and Canada. —JMD Manufacturing, Inc. (Framingham, MA) has agreed to distribute a line of label dispensers and applicators to the East coast for Alipack Americas (Gurnee, IL). —Borden Chemical, Inc. (Louisville, KY) has selected Excel (Westerville, OH) to manage packaging and warehousing sevices for its industrial resins operation. —Jaguar Packaging Inc. (Lewiston, NY) has added Pliant Corp. (Schaumburg, IL) to its family of Standzip™ licensees. —Paulson Training Programs (Chester, CT) and Bosch Automation Technology (Bridgman, MI) have formed a partnership to promote Bosch’s training products. —Teknor Apex (Pawtucket, RI) has part- nered with Davis-Standard (Pawcatuck, CT) to develop an extrusion system for producing a reinforced tubing product. —Air Packaging Technologies Inc. (Valencia, CA) has signed a private-label purchase agreement with 3M (St. Paul, MN), which will give 3M exclusive worldwide rights to sell and distribute APTI’s products. —Southcorp Packaging USA, Inc. (Atlanta, GA) has reached a sale agreement with JP Morgan Chase and will now be called North America Packaging Corp.
