So, we like to find local specialized vendors,” says Severino. At PackagingFinder.com, he clicked on the expanded polystyrene cushioning subcategory and selected Kansas, which is where K & Co., was located at that time. Contour Products (Kansas City, KS) was the first company listed. He contacted Contour and proceeded with business offline. “PackagingFinder.com allowed me to find local specialized services, where in the phone book you can sit there and call 100 numbers before you find what you need,” says Severino. “In this particular case, it was great to find somebody quickly and easily that actually specialized in that particular material.” PackagingFinder.com offers a search engine of suppliers of packaging materials such as film, labels, paper, containers and bags, and packaging equipment including bagging, labeling and printing machinery. —E.F.
