Domino receives ‘Company to Watch’ award at Digital Packaging Summit 2017

There were 35 sponsor companies eligible to win the award, and Domino was selected by the attendees of the event.

Domino concluded a very successful three-day event as they were presented with the prestigious “Company to Watch” award at the Digital Packaging Summit 2017, in Ponte Vedra, FL Oct. 23-25.

“The winner of this award is a company that attendees feel people should keep an eye on moving forward,” says David Pesko, Senior Vice President of nGage Events describes. “They feel their approach, products, technology and strategy make them standout in the marketplace and they feel more is coming.”

There were 35 sponsor companies eligible to win the award, and Domino was selected by the attendees of the event, as Pesko describes.

“The Company to Watch award is voted on by all of our hosted attendees who throughout the event have interacted with our sponsors. Only one sponsor can win this award. We do not provide the attendees with criteria when voting for this or for our case study awards. They base their decisions on what they see in the market and what they hear at the summit,” Pesko says.

David Ellen, President of Domino Digital Printing North America accepted the award on stage presented by Brian Ludwick, VP/Publisher of packagePRINTING and Phil McKay, President of nGage Events.

When asked why he believes Domino was selected, Pesko says, “The attendees who voted for Domino felt that Domino is growing and continuing to advance in terms of product and technology directions in ways that truly benefit their customers.”

The “Company to Watch” award was the only one of its kind presented. Three other awards were given for “Best Sponsor Case Study Presentation”—one for labels, one for folding cartons, and one for corrugated.
