Rosalyn Bandy, TLMI’s VP of Sustainability, announces that TLMI has added 9 new locations for paper release liner recycling to its map of recycling resources. The new locations are thanks to Soprema, a Canadian-based company that uses paper release liner in the production of building components such as roof boards. Soprema has expanded their efforts to procure paper release liner to these 9 U.S. locations.

  • New York State - Albany
  • New Jersey - Jersey City
  • Massachusetts - Boston
  • Connecticut - Hartford
  • Maryland - Baltimore
  • Ohio - Cincinnati - Columbus - Cleveland
  • Michigan - Detroit
  • Indiana - Indianapolis
  • Pennsylvania - Philadelphia

Soprema’s procurement manager, Gregory Wielgus, explains that for any full truckload amounts of 20 tons, Soprema will arrange all the logistics. For smaller amounts, Soprema can provide gaylord boxes and will also arrange collection and transportation with a regional partner. Soprema prefers release liner to be rewound on fiber cores, but will also accept it loose or baled. They will not accept release liner with more than 5% labels remaining.
