Rovema North America is pleased to announce that Adam Martin has been appointed CEO, effective August 20, 2025.
Adam joined Rovema in July 2020 as Midwest Regional Sales Manager and quickly earned expanded leadership roles, becoming Director of Sales in 2022 and Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2024. Over the past five years, he’s consistently demonstrated a competitive edge and a strong focus on customer success. His leadership has played a key role in growing Rovema’s footprint in North America and building lasting partnerships with new and existing clients.
"It is a privilege and honor to step into this role and to lead our North American team." Adam remarked on the transition. "I have tremendous confidence in the strength and talent of this group and I’m grateful for the steady guidance and example John has set along the way."
Adam succeeds John Panaseny, who stepped down on August 19th after 11 years as CEO. Under John’s leadership, Rovema grew market presence significantly in the North and Latin American markets. Through a focus on long-term customer partnerships and operational excellence, the company became a go-to resource for CPG manufacturers looking to improve uptime, adapt to changing packaging demands, and meet aggressive production goals. Today, Rovema North America is widely recognized for its technical strength, responsive support, and strong reputation across the packaging industry, thanks in large part to the culture John fostered.
John Panaseny added, "It has been a privilege to lead Rovema North America over the past 11 years. I am proud of what we have accomplished together and confident that the team will continue to thrive under Adam's leadership. I wish everyone at Rovema continued success."
Throughout his time at Rovema, Adam has emphasized the importance of true partnership, listening closely to customer goals, delivering on promises, and staying responsive long after the install. That mindset, paired with Rovema’s engineering excellence and deep industry experience, has helped clients across North America solve challenges tied to labor, sustainability, and packaging performance.
Miguel Mendoza, SVP of Engineering and Operations at Mount Franklin Foods, shared his thoughts on the transition, highlighting the strength of his working relationship with Adam: “I have had the privilege of working closely with Adam, our partnership has always been marked by collaboration, trust and a shared commitment to deliver excellence. Adam's ability to build trust, lead with clarity and focus on achieving results will guide Rovema to even greater success under his leadership as CEO.”
As CEO, Adam will continue to prioritize long-term relationships and operational impact, helping CPG manufacturers continue to navigate a changing market with reliable packaging systems and a collaborative approach.
