Outstanding senior at Clemson

The Packaging Science Faculty in the Department of Food, Nutrition, and Packaging Sciences at Clemson University has nominated James Belcher for the Fall Semester Packaging World Outstanding Senior in Packaging Science Award ($500).

James Belcher was named the Packaging World Outstanding Senior at Clemson University's Packaging Sciences program for the Fall Semester.

Belcher has aggressively pursued international student exchange opportunities in Australia and Europe despite the academic setbacks that it required. Throughout the program, he has maintained nearly a 4.0 GPA. He demonstrated remarkable persistence this semester as he underwent serious back surgery without missing a beat in the classroom.
