Continuing our stroll down memory lane as we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we look at our August 1995 issue’s coverage of that brand new PMMI packaging show in Vegas.

How many even remember that when first launched, it went by “Pack Expo West?” Back then we wrote that 470 exhibitors were ready and waiting for attendees at the Sands Convention Center. Just think how that picture has changed, as the most recent version of PMMI’s Vegas show—a record setting Pack Expo Las Vegas—drew more than 1,600 solutions providers who occupied more than 700,000 sq ft at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
