Pack Expo 2004: Flexcell horizontal cartoning
PACK EXPO WEB EXCLUSIVE: Triangle is offering its Flexcell horizontal cartoning machine at its booth, S-806, at Pack Expo International 2004. Cartoner is designed and built around third generation digital servo motion control. The result is a compact cartoner with an insertion method that propels, not pushes, products into cartons. This eliminates pushed insertion jams and mechanisms such as barrel loaders, product trays, pusher arms, and confiner assemblies. At speeds to 100 cartons/min, machine has fast, 5-min changeovers.

Machine has been updated with advanced electronics and servo motors for added reliability and lowered maintenance. The Insight® color touch screen is a graphics-based operator interface that uses pictures and icons to make the system simple to operate, providing higher productivity. The Compak II is equipped with a single pneumatic control point and simplified wiring, allowing for faster trouble shooting and reduced spare parts needs.
