A new steel can with a honeycomb wall structure has been introduced by Schmalbach-Lubeca (Ratingen, Germany). This structure allows substantial material savings, says the company.

It's suitable for a wide range of food and non-food products, including dry items such as baby food or milk powder, and viscous and liquid-type products such as preserves, inks and lacquers.
