Fanuc's six-axis S-430i robot, using Smurfit-Stone's R-J3 controller, picks empty bags from a customized bag magazine and places them onto a filler spout. Once the bags are filled and sealed via ultrasonic technology, the robot removes them from the spout and places them on a pallet. This system is capable of processing more than 5 bags/min.
