Lenze Americas promotes executive vice president of operations

Stephan Rottach will provide strategic guidance to support continued improvement of operations at Lenze.

Lenze Americas, a manufacturer of electrical and mechanical drives, motion control, and automation technologies, appointed Stephan Rottach to Executive Vice President of Operations. Rottach previously served as Lenze’s senior vice president of operational excellence.

“With over 20 years of experience in electronics and electromechanical devices—and the past four with —Stephan brings the industry know-how and knowledge of all things Lenze to continue to improve our operations,” says Ralph Rosa, President, Lenze Americas. “He has proven himself to be a valuable member of the leadership team and his development of the operational excellence team has been invaluable. In his new role, I am confident Stephan will provide strategic development to continue to position Lenze at the forefront of the industry and promote growth as an organization.”

Rottach joined Lenze in 2013 as Head of Corporate Lean Management before getting promoted to senior vice president of operational excellence. Prior to that, Rottach served as the president of SRI North America Corporation where he developed and implemented high-level strategies and partnerships while managing the overall operations of the company.

Rottach attended University of Applied Sciences in Kempten, Germany, where he earned his MBA in business administration, MBA in human resources and bachelor’s in mechanical engineering.
