As a component of the fieldbus independent WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM, the module can be used universally with any WAGO PLC or coupler. Further benefits include:

Potential free-- use with multiple voltage potentials (250 VAC/30 VDC)
2 A per electrically-isolated channel when all four are employed
Onboard indication for ease of trouble shooting
5 A when used as single channel for high current applications
