The 230/460 VAC Max+ inverter-duty motors are designed to replace 90 and 180 volt Permanent Magnet DC (PMDC) systems, and when compared with PMDC technology, the Max+ motor is more efficient and produces more torque per amp. Max+ series 1000:1 constant torque (TENV) motors are also great replacements for multi-speed motors, single-phase motors, and as a variable speed upgrade for standard fixed speed motor systems. The Max+ motors with integrated 1024 ppr encoder provide exceptional performance when teamed up with AutomationDirect DURApulse or GS series drives. Typical Max+ AC electric motor applications include: machine tools, conveyors, packaging machines, batching machines, printing equipment, pumps and fans. Max+ series motors are UL Recognized, CSA Certified, CE Marked and have a three year warranty. Max+ AC motors with encoder start at $655.
