The Areal(TM) safety light grid from Leuze-Lumiflex (Rockaway, NJ) is designed to replace traditional fences and barriers that keep personnel away from hazardous packaging lines.

Infrared beams of light are positioned at a specific distance from the line and detect when a person crosses that point. The line then stops until it's reset. Scans at up to 6'. Corner reflecting mirrors can be used for 2-, 3-, and 4-sided applications.
