B&R Industrial Automation: Frequency inverter integration

B&R’s Automation Studio software tool now provides seamless integration of frequency inverters from Danfoss, KEB, Lenze, Schneider, and SEW.

This is made possible by the use of Ethernet Powerlink, the only open industrial Ethernet network in series production. In this way, these inverters can easily be used in a system and can operate together with servo drives and I/O in a real-time network without problems. User has only to select the desired service and assign the variables in an intuitive dialog box. Inverters are also configured using Automation Studio.
