The motors withstand corrosive wash-down solutions containing caustic lye, bleach, acids, alkalines, and surfactants. All exterior surfaces of the motors are corrosion-resistant 300-series stainless steel. Double-sealed bearings that are prelubricated with moisture-resistant, high-temperature grease are used on both ends of the motor.
