Flexible case packer for bags

The Combo Packer from SWF Dyna-Pak Corp. (Sanger, CA) is an automatic case packer developed in response to an increasing demand for versatile case packing operations.

It can load flexible bags in both vertical and horizontal configurations, allowing packagers to use one machine instead of two. Mechanical changeover takes about 10 minutes, says the company, using a box end wrench. Touch screen interface allows "one-touch" pack pattern changes. Flat Pack mode can produce speeds to 200 bags/min, while the Vertical Pack mode operates at up to 60 bags/min.
