Case packer with easy-loading magazine

Thiele/Frontier Products (Minneapolis, MN) has developed a patented new design for case packers that allows simplified magazine loading. Unlike most designs that are gravity-fed and require feeding from as much as 8' from the floor, this new design is fully mechanical and cam-actuated.

It rests only 24" from the floor for easy loading and operation. Because the cases are not elevated, the case packer can run at higher speeds. While most comparable models run at speeds to 5 cases/min, this can operate as fast as 30/min, says Thiele. Most size changeovers are accomplished with push buttons. For difficult-to-load items, a no-tool changeover package is necessary.
