CarnaudMetalbox (Belcamp, MD) has developed beverage cans with 202-dia ends, made of tinplate or aluminum. The smaller opening is said to improve filling operations by reducing spillage: cans are easier to drink from thanks to a wider pouring hole that's nearer the edge than traditional 206-dia ends.
