The PrimeScan Ultima X-ray inspection system from EG&G Instruments (Oak Ridge, TN) will be shown at interpack. It provides automatic inspection and rejection of packaged foods containing foreign objects such as metal, glass, PVC, teflon, bones, stones or shells in metal or glass containers.
