Originally developed for medical applications, Merck's (Whitehouse Station, NJ) Gravitational Doser, or "Grad," is a liquid measuring device that can be applied to most containers, including glass, plastic, metal or paperboard.

It's now available for a variety of industries. A spillproof "dial-and-hand" design (shown) allows the operator to select a dosage amount. The container is then inverted and product dispensed via a trigger valve. Can be made from a variety of plastics, and configured to accommodate a range of dosage amounts.
