EMC compliance for PICs
Effective January 1, 1996, machines installed in the European Community will be required to carry the Community European (CE) Mark. Giddings & Lewis (Fond du Lac, WI) has announced that its full line of Programmable Industrial Controllers (PICs) will be EMC (electomagnetic compatibility) compliant as of October 15, 1995.
