In addition to meeting the needs of the company’s growing clientele, the expansion will support the addition of a new filling and packaging line. The new line will add 85 million units to Surefil’s current production capacity.

Surefil also announced that it has invested in additional laboratory equipment for its testing facilities. The new equipment will allow Surefil chemists to test both raw materials and finished products for the company’s major brand partners.

The new equipment includes a Fourier transform infrared spectrometer, two titration processors from Mettler Toledo (http://glo.mt.com/home), a digital waterbath, a Gardner color scale, and a Sutherland rub tester.
