Alliance opens plant in Iowa

Alliance (www.alliancerocktenn.com), a Rock-Tenn company based in Winston-Salem, NC, and Quality Packaging Specialists (QPSI, www.qpsiusa.com), a contract packaging and supply chain services company in Burlington, NJ, has opened a 192,000-sq-ft contract-packaging facility in Iowa City, IA.

Primarily, the facility will provide consumer packaged goods companies and retailers with supply chain services—contract packaging, fulfillment, and distribution—for consumer packaging and in-store display systems.
