PackML, a product of OMAC, provides a uniform “look and
feel” across different machines on the plant floor.
Scott Reed, Pearson’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing said, “By
offering PackML as our standard when others are not, end-users stand to
benefit whether they are buying a complete end-of-line system from
Pearson or simply integrating our machinery into other systems.” PackML
provides lower engineering costs to end-users, easier integration of
machinery across lines, faster start-ups and reduced ongoing
maintenance needs. By combining PackML. end-users can expect higher
levels of overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and a lower total cost
of ownership (TCO) over the life of their machinery.
Pearson is also pleased to announce the hiring of Sean Spees as Regional Sales Manager, South East US. Based out of Atlanta, Sean has 10 years sales experience, most recently as sales manager for a secondary packaging banding/strapping company. Sean’s industrial sales experience has focused on packaging and safety, which brings a unique perspective to Pearson.
