Robots used in unwrapped food handling must have an IP67 (wash down) rating to consistently maintain hygienic production lines.  C3-IP67 robots are chemically washable in order to meet these hygiene standards.

C3-IP67 robots feature a sanitary design with a smooth surface that prevents foreign substances from remaining on the robot arm. The protective surface prevents build-up of bacteria and is easily sanitized during the antiseptic cleaning process. C3-IP67 robots are highly-resistant to harsh chemicals and can withstand sustained intense water pressure making it easy to maintain proper cleanliness for food, medical, and other applications that require wash down capabilities.

The unique, SlimLine body and compact wrist design of C3-IP67 robots enable them to be easily installed in compact spaces.

Robots are available with either the company’s True PC Based RC620+ controller, or the Micro PowerDrive RC180 controller. The True PC Based RC620+ controller provides the power and flexibility of an open architecture solution. The Micro PowerDrive RC180 controller provides a compact size, and reliable solution at an incredibly low cost. Both controllers come with RC+ Controls software and many fully integrated options such as: Vision Guidance, .Net support, Profibus, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, and much more.
