EPI Labelers announces death of founder

On August 8, EPI Labelers (New Freedom, PA) regretfully announced that its founder James P. Vonderhorst died Wednesday, August 7, as the result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident.

Vonderhorst, 57, was a leading figure in the packaging industry and, according to the company, was instrumental in helping EPI Labelers achieve its reputation for quality labeling and inserting equipment.

“He built this company into an industry leader by instilling in all of us a commitment to product quality and customer service,” said Linda Fulginiti, general manager. “That sense of commitment remains strong as we continue to meet the needs of our customers. I can think of no more fitting tribute to him than to work everyday to keep EPI among the leaders in our industry.”
