MOCON, Inc: Gas stream analyzer

NEW FROM PACK EXPO LAS VEGAS: Mocon’s oxygen gas stream analyzer, the GSA Model 102, is one-third the size of other commercially-available gas flush analyzers, and weighs one-tenth less, making installation on new units or retrofitting on existing form-fill-seal equipment simple.

Proprietary sensor technology is key to the size reduction of both the GSA Model 102 and Model 102 D. The GSA Model 102 D features a separate LED display that shows the actual reading, as well as sending the data to the equipment’s control panel. The Model 102 works through the package machinery’s control systems and display. These online GSA models insure more uniform product quality, maximize industrial gas efficiency and compliment the effectiveness of post production headspace gas testing. Because the gas stream is measured prior to package sealing, problems are discovered earlier in the process, and flush gas flow corrections can be made quickly. The online method also allows continuous reading of oxygen. With both GSA 102 models users choose the time and frequency of automatic calibration, and in stream gas flow is monitored to insure an adequate gas sample is being collected.
