Phoenix Contact Inc: Plug connector housing

Bayonet locking is now available with Phoenix Contact’s Heavycon-Advance rectangular plug connector housing. Heavycon-Advance is suitable for applications where the connector requires plugging and unplugging.

The operation is designed to be simple with the bayonet latch. On the mounting side, two small flanges replace the standard mounting base, which the company says lowers the cost compared to traditional rectangular connectors. Housings are compatible with most contact inserts in the Heavycon line, and meet the requirements of IP 67 protection. Die-cast housings are available in standard, corrosion-resistant, and EMC finishes.
