Geami, Ltd.: Roll system

Geämi Roll System for protective packaging employs a layer of expanded Geämi paper interleaved with tissue. The Geämi System, from Geämi Ltd. (Raleigh, NC), is based on rolls of kraft paper that are die-cut with billions of small slits in a pattern across its length.

This pre-cut paper is expanded, integrated with tissue, and wound onto a 3” paper core to create a lofty 3-D, resilient, and lightweight protective packaging. Geämi Rolls are produced on a portable machine that can be stored in a small area and moved into place on wheels. The machine operates using standard 115 v AC current.
