A pick-and-place mechanism positions the pouches into a flight on the cartoner infeed conveyor. The pouches are cartoned one or two per carton at a rate of about 15 cartons/min.

After precise weighing on a Hi-Speed Checkweigher machine to confirm pouch counts, the pouches travel on a conveyor section to where they are manually inspected before cartoning.
