Graphics help new brand break into bath and body

The new “sub-brand” Ohm by Olay from Procter and Gamble, a line of botanical bath and body products, launched this summer. The packaging, with graphics designed by Libby Perszyk Kathman (Cincinnati, OH), ranges from spray bottles to lotion tubes and cartons.

The graphics offer a vivid color palette intended to communicate a soulful and inviting feeling. It was created to appear open and approachable through confident-looking logotype and modern representations of scent. The Ohm by Olay line includes bar soap, body wash, body scrub, and fragrance mist in two fragrances: Jasmine Rose and Citrus Ginger. The product line is targeted to women ages 18 to 34. Ohm by Olay is available in major retail outlets nationwide. —ALR
