Measuring 3/16" wider than standard tape, at 3 3/16", resealability is difficult. It can be applied manually or with semi-or fully-automatic sealing equipment.

Red Alert tape from Central Products (Menasha, WI) is a water-activated tape that leaves a bottom red sheet on the carton after opening, so it is obvious if a carton has been opened prior to its final destination.
