Peanut butter jars square up

Justin’s Nut Butter, Boulder, CO, an innovative peanut butter manufacturer, was looking for a unique packaging presentation for its product line.

TricorBaun

Justin’s wanted a high-shelf-profile, square-shaped plastic container that could stand out on the grocery shelf. The TricorBraun design and engineering staff developed a custom mold for a square, clear PET peanut butter jar. Jar volume is 16 ounces. The PET jars are made on a single-stage machine from Nissei. The empty jars weigh 50-g and measure 4.52 inches tall with a diameter of 2.93 inches. The 70mm diameter polypropylene closures are supplied by Phoenix Closures.
