Curbside collected HDPE (#2) bottles are subjected to a proprietary, patented cleaning process that cleans the plastic and removes anything that could have been absorbed by the plastic. Designed for packaging nutritional supplements, beverages, food storage containers and some personal care products, the resin is said to reduce CO2 / Greenhouse Gas emissions over prime resin by 67%.
