Videojet Systems Intl. (Wood Dale, IL) has released InkSource® 16-2920, 16-2930, 16-2940 and 16-2970 low-VOC Microsphere inks, which can operate in standard Videojet Excel® Series non-pigmented printers.

These new purple, yellow, gray and pink Microsphere inks are water-based and fully compatible with each other. They are suitable for coding onto a range of substrates including plastic, rubber, glass and paper, with drying times from two to 18 seconds, depending upon the substrate and the presence of air assist units.
