Hi, my name is Jeremy Peterson with High Tek USA. I'm the Applications Engineer with our team. We're here at PACK EXPO in Las Vegas today, and we brought another new piece of equipment with us. We brought our auger scale with us. Rather than using vibration like most scales do, this one actually operates with an auger screw. The advantage to this is it works primarily really well with raw meats, whether that's chicken, beef, pork, doesn't really matter. We've also found a few other applications this works really well with this. Occasionally cheese goes on these and other fun products like frozen cookie dough.

This unit we have here has got a Teflon coating on it for an additional anti-stick function. All components on this machine can be removed without tools, aside from the main feeder spinning cone on top. Another great feature this has is our 11-in. touch screen for easy operation and navigation of the program and making changes on the fly. All the buckets open with stepper motors. These ones here have an anti-scrape device to help make sure that product doesn't skip, or excuse me, doesn't stick to the hoppers and is able to get down into the chutes and into the bags as it needs to. For more information about this product, please contact us at 800-504-7120, or you can reach us online at hightekusa.com. That's hightekusa.com.
