The system is capable of the superb placement accuracy of ±0.03” along with a maximum label dispense speed of 2400 inches per minute. Products are delivered to the applicator head via a six-foot-long chain conveyor, which permits lateral product transfers at both the entry and discharge ends.
In-bound products are properly staged through the use of an integrated metering wheel. During application, the label is completely peeled away from the liner and securely attached to the product through the use of a wipe-on label applicator and wrap station. Cylindrical products ranging from one inch to six inches in diameter easily can be accommodated with the system’s adjustable guide rail clamps that require no tools.
