Cama: Top loading robotic system

See it at PACK EXPO Las Vegas Booth #4906! Able to integrate up to four robots in one loading unit using a single-axis controller, the Cama USA Triaflex Delta robot loading solution is equipped with an intelligent vision system that can pick products arriving randomly from a production line, orient the products as desired, and load them efficiently into the proper tray, lug or article bucket, or into the infeed of another packaging machine.

The system’s artificial vision system provides automatic recognition of the various products, according to their type.  Products are conveyed to the different robots, to be loaded.  The system is able, through one servo controller, to manage up to four Triaflex  4-axis robots (16 servo axis in total) plus, two more servo axis.

The single-axis controller combined with the Cama systems offer many benefits: cost reduction, thanks to the single axis controller; higher system modularity; open architecture controls; reduced footprint of electrical cabinet; simpler hardware and software system.
