CLEMSON PLANS CONVERTING TRAINING

This spring, Clemson University expects to install at its Printing and Converting Research Center a Martin 1628 DRO three-color-flexo rotary die-cutter.

The press was donated by the International Corrugated Packaging Foundation through the contribution of the Bobst Group (Roseland, NJ). When installed, the Department of Graphic Communications at Clemson is expected to develop a comprehensive rotary die-cutting program. The Clemson, SC-based school plans to offer training programs to students and the industry. The equipment will be installed in a new building, currently under construction, at the school’s Printing/Converting Research Center. For more details, visit www.clemson.edu.
