In 2015 Jon received the news that he had ALS, Lou Gehrig’s Disease. The love and support of his fellow colleagues at Syntegon was displayed in their efforts that allowed him to continue working beyond his physical capabilities for 2 years. These relationships continued long after his early retirement, through constant visits up until the final days.
