Automated Cap Chute Changeover

Change over between caps on a production line can be dangerous and time consuming. If you don't have room in your facility or are unable to spare the expense for a platform, employees may be forced to climb up on ladders and manually handle any chute change overs. This adds extra time to the daily routine as well as a risk factor with using a ladder on a potentially wet or uneven floor. Fogg, a manufacturer of rotary filling equipment, has engineered and created an alternative to this manual change over. You can now pick your cap on the HMI and pneumatic cylinders will extend or contract, pushing plates to allow access for only the correct cap. This option may be available on new machines or as a retrofit to your current machine. This feature is cap dependent, so talk to your salesman to see if you are eligible.
