ICA vf/f/s does coffee and more

In a booth filled with ELAU-equipped bagging systems, ICA's CSV40 Series Paket line demonstrated its ability to run multiple bag sizes and configurations, from simple pillow shaped bags to flat top and square bottom packs with longitudinal edge seams, tin-ties, degassing valves and gas flushing.

Main features of the ICA bag include 4-sided sealing with no trimming to prevent material waste. Bags feature a perfectly formed flat bottom, a large top label, flat top, ability to insert a valve and valve indicator, and tin tie. The tin tie and film are designed for easy opening without tearing, and the bag can be reclosed with either the tin tie or the label.

Outputs range from 50 1-kg packs of coffee beans to 75 0.5-kg bags of rice per minute. ICA leverages ELAU for a complete automation solution that provides integrated logic, motion and temperature control, internet diagnostics, and communications to a supervisory PC.
